HKU LLM Financial Crime Compliance course welcomed Willa Chan as a guest speaker.

John Lee, Adjunct Associate Professor of the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law, commented after the lecture “Willa shared with our students on the topic of funds, including what I referred as the ‘fun’ side of funds. It was wonderful to have a knowledgeable and seasoned funds lawyer like Willa to walk through the concepts of how funds work as well as the complexities and nuances of different fund structures; and more importantly, what we should look out for as potential red flags and concerns from a compliance perspective.”
