Willa did a CPD-accredited sharing on the laws and regulations applicable to private funds and fund managers to the alumni of the CUHK Law Faculty

In the evening of 1 March 2022, Willa was home to the Law Faculty of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she read law, and shared with alumni and friends an overview on the laws and regulations applicable to private funds and fund managers.

"I am very glad to see many familiar faces and names." Willa said, meeting over 100 participants online, some of which are her best friends from law school.

During the webinar, Willa discussed:

(a) what a fund is;

(b) what a private fund is;

(c) the different types of funds, structuring considerations and the common structures;

(d) what Hong Kong has done to become an attractive fund domicile; and

(e) the Hong Kong licensing requirements applicable to fund managers.
